Three Generations of Women Are
Drinking the Cactus Juice

“I have never felt this good in my life,” says Michele. “I knew it would change my mom’s life, and it is wonderful that it is helping my aunt and grandmother, too

It’s common for wives to introduce husbands to the Nopal Cactus juice and vice versa. But it’s unusual to find three generations of women in the same family enjoying its healing power. Yet that’s exactly what is happening in Anchorage, Alaska.

Michele Groesbeck, her mother Guylaine, her grandmother Annette, and her aunt, who is also named Michelle, all live within the same city. And all four are drinking the juice to reduce swelling and pain. “We’re hooked on it,” says Michele, who was the first to try it.

A young, single mother of three children ages 16, 11 and 8, Michele couldn’t sleep one night and was up watching TV when she saw the Infomercial for the cactus juice.

“It definitely had my attention. They were talking about all the symptoms I had – pain, swelling, problems with sleep,” says Michele. “I thought, why not. I have been on different medications for 15 years and I was sick of them. I figured I had nothing to lose by trying the juice.”

The next day, Michele got on the computer, went to Kare’s Cactus Juice website (www.karescactusjuice.com) and immediately ordered one case. Within three days of her gift bottle arriving, she knew she had made the right decision.

“The kids and I used to go on long walks with our golden retriever dogs, but I hadn’t been able to do that in a very long time,” says Michele. “I couldn’t believe it. With the improvement I was feeling from the juice, I was able to walk for about a mile and a half.”

Michele had suffered for years from many different illnesses, all of which seemed to be getting worse. She had fibromyalgia, migraines and asthma, as well as scoliosis and Sheuermann’s Disease, potentially crippling skeletal disorders that lead to abnormal twisting and curvature of the spine and upper back. Most likely her spinal conditions were related to the early trauma Michele sustained as an infant with her birth family. Over the years, she had undergone many surgeries and had constant back pain.

On top of that, her knees were starting to give out. She’d already had surgery on one knee and at age 33, she needed a cane to get around. Her doctors were even talking about getting her a walker. Then there was her sciatic nerve pain, which was especially severe in her left hip.

“Every time I would cough or sneeze, which was often because I have asthma, the sciatic nerve pain would strike, I would lose my balance and fall to the ground,” says Michele. She ended up at the emergency department more than once.

But now that she’s been drinking the juice, her chronic pain is going away and her migraines have improved. “Before, I used to be stuck in bed in a dark room for at least four days out of the week due to my terrible migraines and body pain,” says Michele. “No one was allowed to yell and even the dogs couldn’t bark.”

She also started to notice something rather unusual – the dissolvable stitches that doctors had used over the years for her many surgeries seem to be surfacing and “popping out.”

Not only is she feeling better physically, but her whole mood is brighter. “I feel like my body went through a major detox,” says Michele. “I feel taller and prouder. I carry myself differently. It’s like the juice gave me a body high.”

Michele shared the good news about the juice with her mother Guylaine, who has Grave’s Disease, had her spleen removed some years ago, and more recently underwent several cosmetic surgeries. Guylaine in turn let her mother Annette and Aunt Michelle know.

“I knew it would change my mom’s life, and it is wonderful that it helping my aunt and grandmother, too,” says Michele. “I have never felt this good in my life.”
