Bill Peterson was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2006. Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is an auto-immune disease that causes joint pain throughout all joints of the body. Thousands of dollars worth of treatments throughout several years destroyed Bill’s immune system and left him very ill.

Many of the drugs to treat RA can cause cancer and Bill was diagnosed with bladder cancer in September 2009. He is currently undergoing chemo treatments, and he and his wife, Shirley, are hoping that will soon go into remission. The drugs also weakened his bones, leaving him with three fractures in his back that took quite some time to heal.

Bill spent Christmas of ’09 to New Year’s of 2010 in the hospital because of his Rheumatoid Arthritis. He was admitted to the hospital with a viral infection due to all of his medications. His doctors took him off all of his medications at that point.

Bill began drinking the nopal cactus juice the day he got out of the hospital. Within a month, the pain from his arthritis had already lessened. Now, a year later, Bill is free from pain and his doctors have told him that his Rheumatoid Arthritis is in remission!
